ATASDA CELEBRATES its 50th Birthday!

Come and explore a myriad of textile arts and surface design.

ATASDA members have been enjoying learning, networking, and skill-sharing for 50 years.

From its origins in batik in the ‘70s, we have been weaving, dyeing, printing, drawing, stitching, embellishing; incorporating all manner of techniques, on all manner of materials, inspired by elements from all walks of life!

Come and join the fun!

Enjoy the camaraderie, support and feedback, skills and friendship, of a dedicated bunch of textile and surface design tragics! Traditional techniques, creative invention or techno!  We embrace it all!

See our magnificent Commemorative Golden Cape of myriad skills and interpretations, on show. A work featuring past and present members, encompassing the variety and breadth of skills and talents we share.
