Interlude Exhibition

ATASDA members have explored the theme 'Interlude' using unusual materials, coupled with traditional textile techniques, to take the visitor on a journey.

This could be a journey where reverie is displayed as a 'respite' from day-to-day activities; 'leaving something unfinished' in order to attend to other matters; or a 'pause' for thought, for time out.

The ATASDA artists use techniques such as dyeing, felting, weaving, machine embroidery, surface embellishment, discharge, cloth construction, knitting, hand embroidery and printing to achieve their works.

This event has been postponed due to Covid-19, to a date and venue not yet determined. Participants are ccompleting their artworks ready for exhibition ... Watch the website for further events updates.
