Creative Fusion: Exploring your Embellisher Machine (members only)

A fabulous one day workshop with Irene Rudan.

Many of us have an Embellisher machine that we rarely use, or use in a limited fashion.

The Embellisher is a unique machine that can create textures and one-of-a-kind pieces that no other machine can.

Together we will discover how our Embellisher can allow us to make intriguing surface designs and textures and how it allows us to combine fabric, thread and fibres in a unique way.

What we make with our Embellisher can then be used to enhance our textile creations or create fabric which can be used to make clothing, bags, journal covers, broaches etc.

On the day we will create 4 different projects – the techniques used in each project will give you a foundation you can explore further when you are home.

The 4 projects are:

1. Creating a soft draping fabric
2. Creating a structured fabric
3. Creating Felt Fabric
4. Using your Embellisher to make a creative piece
