Come along to an ATASDA workshop to gain knowledge and skills, and share the experience with other like-minded textile artists. Workshop tutors are experienced artists, and accredited teachers, some visiting from overseas or interstate. We welcome participants of all skill levels, from beginners to the more experienced.

Textile Tasters are a way to try something new, experiment or develop skills further. They are taught by experienced members of ATASDA, on a single day.

Non-members who join ATASDA benefit from reduced member workshop rates.

Lisa Shepherd - Cyanotype & beyond

Join floral artist Lisa Shepherd in an introduction to the historic alternative photographic process of Cyanotype printing which is a form of camera-less photography.

Discover all aspects of the process including making photograms from pressed flowers and plant cuttings as well as using feathers, lace, doilies, stencils and digital negatives. Also look at toning a cyanotype, removing the blue colour and then introduce a new colourway.
