The long-awaited biennial ATASDA exhibition, Interlude, is on soon!

Come and see new and original textile art works in the latest exhibition from members of Australian Textile Arts and Surface Design Association Inc. ATASDA members have explored the theme Interlude using unusual materials,coupled with traditional textile techniques, to take the visitor on a journey.

We welcome your attendance at the Interlude Exhibition Opening.

Interlude will be officially opened by Kirry Toose. Kirry is a well-respected textile artist with a primary focus on wearable art. Training at the National Art School, she worked as a professional designer in fashion, theatre and opera, along side roles in teaching, judging etc.  Her art practice is characterised by innovation and the experimental use of materials. Seventeen years ago Kirry was the initiator of this Exhibition series.

It’s winter and most of us are finding it quite a tad colder than the previous year or two. ATASDA NSW committee have decided we would like to offer all our members a small challenge to complete across the cooler months.
